TITLE: Cured Meats Plant Manager
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree in Food Science and 2 years experience as plant manager in cured meats industry, directing cured meat slicing/packing operations. Requires knowledge of HPP (High Pressure Pasteurization).
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for managing, directing facility. Oversee, assess production staff, food production performance. Ensure adequate programs, procedures are in place to ensure food safety, product quality. Develop, implement standards to maintain food excellence. Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation, Safety Standards. Make recommendations, implement opportunities regarding cost saving, efficiency improvement initiatives. Plan, implement long-term equipment, production, labor goals. Manage raw materials, finished goods inventory to assure uninterrupted service. Create, develop methods, operational procedures, systems in production management, staff management to improve efficiency.
