TITLE: Industrial Eng/Mechanical Maintenance Technologist
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Industrial Engineering, Engineer (any) or related and 24 months of experience as an Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Operations Engineering, or related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience with furnace burners and knowledge of mechanical systems, including control components; maintenance practices, including preventive maintenance; and reading technical drawings.
JOB DUTIES: Perform preventive maintenance tasks on furnace equipment, including mechanical and control systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, electrical failures and control system issues. Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, relays, switches, sensors and wiring. Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, spare parts, and equipment upgrades. Analyze furnace operations and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct, process flow analysis, and data collection to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization. Develop and implement improvement initiatives, such as process redesign layout optimization and workflow enhancements. Optimize combustion process to achieve efficient fuel utilization, stable flame characteristics and low emissions. Adjust burner settings accordingly and implement control strategies to improve combustion efficiency. Collaborate with cross functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to streamline operations and improve overall performance. Utilize statistical tools and techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and make data- driven decisions. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practiced.
SALARY: $71,781 to $91,520 per year.
