TITLE: Construction and Commissioning Manager
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor in Engineering plus 96 months of commissioning experience (or 120 months of experience with no degree).
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for leading and supervising engineering projects. He will develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems in steel manufacturing projects. In particular: Reviews Client’s technical documentation and project requirements for steel products. Controls subcontracted discipline engineering documents. Sets up and executes assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering topic associated to Discipline, pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimization in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety. Prepares MTO and BOQ. Prepares S.O.W. and technical specification for steel contract. Controls manufacturer ‘s shop drawings and connection calculation notes and details. Implements discipline follow-up activities an engineering activities. Discuss and lay out project specifications. Make detailed plans to accomplish goals. Review, approve, or modify product designs. Develop cost estimates. Draft proposals and reports for clients. Improve manufacturing processes and advance scientific research for steel products.
