TITLE: Environment Artist

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Animation & Visual Effects, or related field.

JOB DUTIES: Create special effects or animations using computers or other tools and media for use in computer games & related. Create visually stunning, atmospheric, effective, and efficient 3D models of natural and architectural environments with strong drawing, texturing, and lighting skills and an excellent sense of spatial relations and structural logic. Work with our Art Director and team to establish look as set forth by game designers. Work with our technical artist to establish an efficient environment content pipeline and tools necessary to keep asset creation as streamlined. Work with a team of level designers and artists to rapidly prototype levels. Work within budget while hitting key timelines and troubleshooting technical and artistic issues. Communicate effectively.

Salary range: $81,161/year to $100,000/year

TITLE: Senior UI Visual Designer

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, or related field or foreign equivalency and 2 years of experience in the job or 2 years of experience as an Experience Designer, or a related occupation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Any suitable combination of education, training, &/or experience is acceptable.

JOB DUTIES: Create original art content using computers or other tools and media for use in computer games & related. Work with a small team of UI Visual Designers, UX Designers, UI Technical Designers, and Engineers to establish functional, original, and attractive interfaces for a game. Generate original art content for the front-end UI and heads-up displays for a multitude of features in the game. Develop with team the visual language of the UI that includes iconography, typography, visual hierarchy, brand expression and motion. Shape the UI design system for consistent and immersive gaming experience while navigating the game interface. Create high-fidelity UI screens and component mockups that align with UX/UI goals and accessibility standards. Partner with Engineers and UI Technical Designers to implement and ensure quality in-engine. Work closely with Producers and Directors to estimate work and assist in prioritizing work.

Salary range: $138,020/year to $167,150/year
