TITLE: Lawyer

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or a related field or foreign equivalency.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: California Bar License required.

JOB DUTIES: Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, or manage or advise clients on legal transactions. May practice broadly in many areas of law. Perform legal research on relevant issues. Maintain communication with clients and opposing counsel. Conduct investigations. Attend depositions, draft motions, and trial preparation. Prepare clients for depositions and hearings. Negotiate settlements.

Salary range: $145,000/year to $210,000/year
