TITLE: Restaurant Manager
REQUIREMENTS: 24 months of experience as a Restaurant Manager.
JOB DUTIES: Oversee restaurant operations to ensure quality service and cost-effective management of resources. Establish budgets of the restaurant operations and monitor spending to ensure efficiency of operations including reviewing and authorizing all major spending such as purchase of food, new equipment, repair/renovation, and advertisement. Manage all areas of operations to ensure revenues and profits are maximized, risk is managed, and costs are controlled and consistent with the budget and business plans. Direct and coordinate the activities of the restaurant including making shift assignments, supervising kitchen/floor operations, and resolving customer complaints. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas. Approve the hiring of kitchen and food service personnel and have authority to fire employees when necessary. Supervise training of necessary personnel including kitchen and floor staff to ensure that the restaurant has sufficient man power to provide quality food products and excellent customer service.
