TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design & Development, or related field or foreign equivalency and 2 years of experience in the job or 2 years of experience as a Gameplay Engineer, or in a related occupation.

JOB DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer software or specialized utility programs as an expert software engineer for gameplay advances. Apply gameplay development experience including architecting gameplay systems to player facing user interface (UI). Work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to build a strong player experience. Maintain familiarity of the game’s design, for both the live product and for all on going expansions. Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to build sustainable and maintainable technologies and code. Support the game by helping address issues in production. Own systems vertically from the back end to the player facing UI.

Salary range: $150,000/year to $201,880/year

JOB DUTIES: Collaborate with game designers, visual artists, audio designers, and other specialists to design and propel AAA game development. Exemplify and promote standards for code, design, development, debugging, optimization, review, testing, and documentation. Establish mutual trust and respect among your teammates and celebrate one another’s successes. Create technical code, deployment and other required documents per company’s Standards and Processes. Production support, documentation and deliver onto ad-hoc requests. Provide regular status updates. Develop appropriate test scenarios and scripts as needed. Setups and configurations as needed for development and support activities. Architect, deliver and support complex hybrid solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues. Keep current with latest trends in related technology. Collaborate with cross functional groups.

SALARY: $184,800/year to $218,810/year
