TITLE: Director of Business Applications
REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Software Engineering and minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business applications management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role. Proven experience with Salesforce, including custom development and integration using Apex, Visualforce, and the Lightning Component Framework. Experience in managing large-scale application implementations and integrations in a complex, multi-system environment. Strong proficiency in Salesforce administration and development, with certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I, and Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant. Expertise in business process analysis, application design, and system integration. Solid understanding of APIs, data flow management, and integration of third-party systems with Salesforce and other enterprise applications. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of IT professionals, including developers, analysts, and project managers. Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop effective, innovative solutions. Experience in performance measurement, KPIs, and using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. A forward-thinking mindset with a strong focus on innovation and the ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends. Oversee financial planning and analysis related to application investments, including ROI assessments and forecasting. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on business operations and application strategies. Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication of application capabilities and imitations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative approach to application management and project delivery. Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations. Lead the resolution of complex application issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance, usability, and alignment with business needs. Implement best practices for application development, maintenance, and support to ensure high levels of service delivery.
