TITLE: Senior Concept Artist
REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience in the job or 2 years of experience as an Artist, Game Director, or in a related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Any suitable combination of education, training &/or experience is acceptable.
JOB DUTIES: Create concept art. Contribute to the unique visual direction of the company’s online game. Create a diverse and wide range of alluring and inspiring environment concepts that draw players into a world while helping 3D artists execute them in a game engine. Create high quality illustration work to capture the feel of the game and excite others by its unique artistic vision. Partner with other artists, designers, and engineers to collaborate on creatively complex assignments. Manage time independently. Know when to work quickly to generate conceptual ideas and when to slow down and polish an image for public consumption. Duties involve fundamental art and understanding of perspective, light, color, and a breadth of subject matter applicable to both environments and characters. Use both 2D and 3D modeling to quickly get ideas generated.
SALARY: $130,000/year to $161,500/year
