TITLE: Contracts and Legal Support Coordinator

REQUIREMENTS: US or foreign Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Legal Studies, Law or any closely related field. Two years experience in the job offered or as Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or any closely-related position or occupation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience in contract drafting, contract analysis and contract negotiation. Experience in training, managing and supervising junior or newly-hired employees. Experience in legal research.

JOB DUTIES: Under supervision of department head, oversee the drafting, execution and analysis; including but not limited to the monitoring of all deliverables for provider contracts,memorandums of understanding (MOU’s), letters of interest (LOI’s), and other types of agreements or contracts. Following the rules and instructions of the head of department, provide oversight of contract clauses/addenda, reviews and negotiations of new contracts/amendments and other contracting related documents based on guidelines, parameters and standards,including leadership strategy discussions; implementation of contracts/amendments. Participate in the coordination of internal procurement and legal teams if needed. Identify key contract obligations, potential business, and legal risks to devise and implement strategies for mitigating risks and resolving contractual issues and disputes according to the directives of department heads. Assist with document 9ow management. Assist the legal team with meticulous editing and processing of documents, including contract templates and standard forms. Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments, and contribute to overall management of legal team calendars. Timely processing of mail, drafting routine correspondence, and ensuring delivery to appropriate parties.

SALARY: $91,291 per year.
