TITLE: Accounting Associate
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or any related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or any accounting, budget or finance related position required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience in Quickbooks; 2 years of experience in Excel functions; 2 years of experience in financial report generation and general understanding of information in reporting.
JOB DUTIES: Under the supervision of a Finance Officer, provide and maintain a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the facility’s reported financial results. Processes and maintains general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all company transactions. Review entries and posting general journal entries. Directs accounts payable activities. Coordinates with the accounting firm for financial audit and state and federal tax return preparation. Assess and identify the need for process improvements of both a manual and system nature.
SALARY: $58,802 per year.
