TITLE: Software Engineer

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and 6 months of experience in the job or 6 months of experience as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst or in a related occupation.

JOB DUTIES: Reviews the overall ServiceNow code quality, administration, platform development, module development and executes them using company AGILE practices. Reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated. Attends regularly scheduled meetings identifying tasks or user stories that are at risk and provides support as needed. Works with multiple levels of staff and leadership to understand the requirements and how they might impact cross-functional process teams. Analyzes and designs programs for simple to medium complexity business problems according to user specifications and assisted in developing detailed program specifications. Complies with project management methodology requirements as appropriate. Request Fulfillment Created new workflows, forms, approvals, etc. Knowledge Management Created simple routing and approvals. Legal Management Created custom application that helped legal team migrate from emails to an application that manages automated workflows for approvals, notification and Contract creation. Custom Applications Created custom applications in ServiceNow that support our Visitor registration process in several location of company.

Involves diagnosing the issue, determining the root cause, preparing a software or data fix, and shepherding the change through testing into the live environment.
