TITLE: Art and Play Therapy Assistant
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent coursework) in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field and minimum of 6 months of experience working in art and play therapy assistant role.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Certification in Art and Play Therapy and CPR is required.
JOB DUTIES: Prepare and organize materials for therapy-based research sessions, including art supplies and play
equipment. Collect and document data during sessions through observations, recordings, and participant feedback. Communicate with participants and families about research goals, consent, and progress. Maintain detailed records of findings and assist in refining therapy techniques based on research results. Ensure research environments are clean, organized, and conducive to therapy-focused studies.
