JOB DUTIES: Responsible for developing, modifying, deploying, and debugging software. Duties involve problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. Drives the technical vision of the surfacing and look development disciplines. Leads a team of developers. Uses techniques and technologies relating to CG pipelines and workflows as well as third-party computer graphics programs such as Katana, Mari, Renderman, and Redshift. Teach, guide, and educate surfacing artists. Provide practical feedback on the surfacing pipeline and offer potential solutions on how to improve them.

Salary range: $170,000/year to $243,130/year

JOB DUTIES: Oversee the design and execution of study activities, ensuring quality standards are maintained and built upon overtime. Communicate with project collaborators generating consensus and prioritizing research projects. Collaborate with junior researchers to ensure they complete highly impactful research initiatives. Maintain the research project roadmap aligned with franchise research needs. Evangelize User Research philosophy and share knowledge of methods and best practices with project partners. Identify process and communication improvements for the field. Ensure project consistency with departmental process on how to generate and formulate workable feedback. Liaise with Design, Production, Marketing, Analytics, and other teams to align research efforts. Complete user studies and activities. Carry out research using several methods including, but not limited to, usability testing, UX, balance testing, focus groups, interviews, surveys, heuristic evaluations, card sorts, exploratory research, and field studies. Leverage and suggest new data sources to contextualize analysis and recommendations. Provide summarized research directly to the development teams for discussion and future implementation. Provide design suggestions based on observation, research, and expertise. Coordinate test strategy and design, for public and internal playtests. Maintain detailed records of study details.

Salary range: $107,640/year to $142,600/year

JOB DUTIES: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Own end-to-end responsibility on projects of increasing complexity; from technical design through completion and deployment. Participate in full application lifecycle (concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release management). Write clean, correct code incorporating feedback from code reviews; consistently follow and enforce best practices. Leading and/or mentoring other developers; helping them improve their coding skills, work habits, and team collaboration. Collaborate on API contracts which are documented and agreed upon by multiple stakeholders. Investigate and Prototype new technologies. Foresee future changes, lead the feature team to provide expandable and scalable solutions. Participate in cross-team engineering efforts such as improving code review system, build pipeline, monitoring, etc.

Salary range: $160,425/year to $222,060/year
