TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics or related field or foreign equivalency and 5 years of experience in the job or 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Any suitable combination of education, training &/or experience is acceptable.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for network communications, game and service feature implementation, security countermeasures, and maintenance of the online gaming services. Requires strong C++ programming skills; Networking experience in TCP/IP and UDP protocols; Distributed systems experience; Protocol design/optimization; Familiar with implementing client/server architecture; Scalability considerations; Security considerations (encryption, denial of service); Architecture (cloud, client/server); Experience with code optimization; High comfort level working within (and analyzing and improving) an established code base.
