TITLE: Chief Operating Officer
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Aviation Electronics Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering , or similar and 2 years of experience as a manager or executive in the Aviation and Aerospace Industry (design, production, maintenance, and commercialization of aircraft systems, components, and equipment) required.
JOB DUTIES: Direct and coordinate day-to-day operational activities, ensuring that maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, and alterations on aircraft and components are performed efficiently and in compliance with FAA and industry standards; Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety; Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, tools, and materials, to support timely and quality service delivery; Direct human resources activities, including recruiting, training, performance evaluation, and workforce planning; Appoint managers and delegate responsibilities to ensure operational areas are effectively managed; Confer with board members, organization officials, and staff to discuss operational challenges, coordinate activities, and resolve problems; Prepare and present reports detailing operational activities, expenses, and budgets to the board or CEO; Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective action plans to address organizational inefficiencies or safety concerns; Negotiate or approve contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, and regulatory agencies to secure necessary resources and partnerships; Lead the development and implementation of corrective action plans to solve organizational problems and improve operational processes; Identify and address potential risks to ensure the facility operates within safety and quality standards.
SALARY: $167,690 per year.
