TITLE: Employment-Based Immigration Attorney
REQUIREMENTS: Juris Doctorate in Law and at least 1 year of employment-based immigration experience required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Active BAR license to practice law in the United States.
JOB DUTIES: Provide and develop legal immigration services and solutions to individual/corporate clients on I-140 and I-485 cases. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as Request for Evidence (RFE) and Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) on immigration petitions. Review and approve paralegals/clients’ drafts on the law firm’s case management system and develop legal strategies for supervisors’ approval. Train paralegals on immigration application related tasks. Perform legal research regarding employment-based immigration cases. Study and analyze relevant immigration trends and regulation changes and present findings to clients. Discuss unique and complicated immigration cases with internal and external attorneys to provide legal solutions on employment based immigration related issues.
SCHEDULE: Full Time; Typically from 9am to 5pm; 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week.
SALARY: $85,779 per year to $87,000 per year.
