TITLE: Tutor for Special Needs
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Education and 2 years of experience as a Teacher or tutor and autism kids education required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Florida Drivers Licence. Reliable Transportation. Teacher certificate USA or other country. 4+ years experience teaching/tutoring. 2+ years experience with Autism kids teaching/tutoring. Lesson Planning experience. Must be native fluency in English and Portugueses. Must need to know Brazilian culture. Must pass a background check and screening/drug Test prior to onboarding. Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with students of all ages. Independent and Reliable. Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs. Strong organizational skills to track student progress and maintain records. Creative *Out of the box thinkers are encouraged!
JOB DUTIES: Provide one-on-one classes to students of various ages and skill levels. Assess students’ learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans. Utilize learning technology and educational resources in the classroom. Communicate effectively to provide progress updates and address any concerns. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Support students in developing foundational skills. Speaking in Portuguese. Manage autism crises behavior.
SALARY: $52,686 per year.
