TITLE: Employee Relations Specialist
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or Equivalent Degree in HR, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field.
JOB DUTIES: Facilitate an effective, inclusive work environment / culture and relationships, balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company goals and values. Build strong relationships with operations partners, employees’ representatives, HR colleagues and specialists, and other business partners to jointly deliver strategic objectives and resolve issues. Work cross-functionally and advise members of the Human Resources Team, including, but not limited to, HR Partners, Talent Acquisition, and policy interpretation, policy violations, disciplinary actions, performance management, and employee misconduct issues. Conduct internal investigations that allege potential inconsistencies with or violations of Employee Handbook, ranging from concerns of management style to more severe allegations such as bullying, all while following best practice investigation techniques. Coordinate the review and analysis of all reasonable accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by engaging employees in the interactive process, making recommendations to Human Resources (HR) team and operation managers. Coach, provide counseling, and educate employees on HR policies, processes, programs and plans. Interpret data and use technology to proactively identify and diagnose business needs / opportunities and develop solutions to meet those needs. Support hourly personnel recruiting and hiring. Personnel Relations activities and health and safety activities as required. Track and report on manpower planning data and strategies to support our clients.
SALARY: $67,205 – $70,000 per year.
