TITLE: Sr SAP BOBJ and Tableau Developer
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering (any) or related and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Consultant, SAP Consultant, Technical Cloud Consultant, or related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of experience in SAP BOBI and Tableau. 3 years of experience in Power BI.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for studying the client/ owner specifications before starting the project. Conducted work-shops for requirement gatherings and extensively involved in design discussions and involved in design strategy meetings and discussed detailed reporting plans & interfaces with users of various regions at highest levels in work matrix. Suggesting Dashboard tools like Tableau, SAP Dashboards, Design Studio etc. as per the requirement and ETAs. Designing Tableau dashboards connected to Oracle Server, SAP BW(Live), SAP BW(extract) and SAP HANA Design a ngTableau dashboard connecting to both oracle and SAP BW, getting financial data from Oracle and Hierarchy from SAP BW. Designing mobile Tableau Dashboards for the IPads. Scheduling Tableau dashboards (publications) to Users. Assigning security to the Tableau dashboards and providing authorizations for the specific users to access the dashboards. Creating the BEx Queries using free characteristics, Filters, Restricted key figures, calculated key figures, Variables and Navigational attributes and Hierarchies. Work with BW 3.5x BEx Reports. Work with SAP BW BEx Designer and BEx Analyzer. Handling query performance by creating conditions in Universes and optimizing it at the Database level. Enhancing the BW Multiprovider and Infoset providers to get the BEx reports. Creating Process chains in SAP BW for the data flows and scheduled to run as periodically. Extracting and loading data from source systems like ECC, flat files and other source systems into SAP BW. Monitoring process chains (data loads from various sources). Creating UI dashboards connect to restful service to fetch data. Involving in designing Responsive UI for the data received from Restful services. Involving in Data Connectivity to the Universes by using Add Query. Work on Change Requests of the existing Dashboards. Work on SAP Dashboards with SAP HANA as a source via universe. Creating Audit reports using WebI. Involving in migrating reports from SAP BO 4.0 to SAP BO 4.1. Modifing existing crystal reports and created new reports with cross tabs and sub reports based on the client requirements using Crystal Reports 2008. Creating APDs and Monitoring Jobs as a part of support project. Using OData services bought into JSON format from SAP BW to blend data for web application in SAPUI5 HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON were used in designing web application for client. Creating and publishing stories in Cloud and in BI Launchpad. Creating visualizations in SAP Lumira 1.3, connected to SAP HANA. Creating visualizations using various components in SAP Design Studio connected to SAP BW and SAP HANA. Using CSS for the styling and text formats in SAP Design Studio 1.5. Creating Cross Tab reports, Summery tables, Line charts and Bar charts using Spotfire. Creating Pie chart, Bar chart and Detailed Table Visualization from the data and then drill down, slice and dice the data to understand the data from different angles and perspectives. Creating custom functions in Spotfire for creating visualizations. Build various Spotfire reports and publish them on to the Spotfire Server.
TRAVEL DETAILS: Unanticipated client sites across the US. Must be willing to travel and relocate domestically as needed.
SALARY: $177,154 – $180,000 per year.
