TITLE: Licensed Insurance Sales Agent (2-20 LICENSE)
REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s Degree or 2 years of undergraduate study and hold active Florida General Lines (Property and Casualty) 2-20 License.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for the sale of truck and auto insurance policies to new and existing customers. Write trucking policies. Review active commercial trucking policies. Review renewal trucking policies. Train trucking agents when needed. Solicit new business and maintain current business levels in order to achieve or exceed sales production goals. Meet with prospective and existing clients. Participate in company meetings. Show ability to interact with diverse clients. Ask questions and listen carefully. Handle customer concerns. Research and analyze insurance policies. Analyze clients’ needs, current insurance policies and suggest policies, additions, or changes. Explain the features of various policies to clients. Maintain and develop relationships with carriers and vendors.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week.
SALARY: $60,900.00 per year.
