REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. in Plant Science or Horticulture.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to use lab equipment for monitoring plant health and crop quality, e.g. SPAD meter, Brix/acid measuring equipment. 3 plus years of research experience in soft fruits.

JOB DUTIES: Plan for growing activities that are consistent with planned production schedules. Design and lead cultivation trials. Collaborate with engineers to develop an autonomous crop management system. Monitor growing conditions and track plant growth. Maintain irrigation schedules, and pruning and harvesting, and releasing beneficials and spraying pesticides.

Create and present key requirements artifacts, Scope Documents, Use Cases, Detailed Specification of Key Business Rules, Test plans and Test scenarios, Activity Diagrams, Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation, Application Gap analysis.

Collaborate with designers to create new gameplay system. Support the design department by working on a variety of generalist tasks, to facilitate their efforts. Optimization work related to performance and bandwidth improvements. Bug fixing and polish tasks. Apply software development skills as well as application programming. Partner in the success of critical software components, drawing assistance from other programmers when necessary.
