TITLE: Junior Architectural Drafter
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Design, or a relevant field.
JOB DUTIES: Prepare architectural drawings using computer-assisted systems or drafting machines. Research building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents related to architectural designs. Develop design concepts and architectural plans under the guidance of senior architects. Coordinate with the architect or engineer on-site, ensuring builders adhere to design specifications. Assist in preparing cost estimates and technical reports for projects, working under the guidance of an architect or engineer. This job will be conducted under the supervision of a licensed architect. Therefore, a separate license is not required.
SALARY: $68,000 per year.
