TITLE: Senior Concept Artist

REQUIREMENTS: 4 years of experience in the job or 4 years of experience in a related occupation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Any suitable combination of education, training &/or experience is acceptable.

JOB DUTIES: Lead a team of artists and professionals in creating character animation, modeling, prototype design, lighting, particle systems, rendering, texturing, and screen design of products. Create environments that are compatible with, and enhance interactivity.

Analyze parameters of the virtual environment, design and develop graphic elements compatible with these parameters, and conduct testing to ensure conformity with technical and aesthetic specifications. Use state-of-the-art animation and computer technology. Requires experience with Photoshop, Painter, and other 2D art/painting programs.

Requires experience working in the pre-production aspects of game development and animated feature film-making. Exceptional understanding of human and creature anatomy. Must have a keen eye toward form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regard to illustration and design.
Superior eye for light, value, composition, color, staging, and detail in environmental design. Requires experience with creation of design blueprints for sets or environments. Requires knowledge and skills in Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk, 3DStudio Max, and Pixologic Zbrush.
