TITLE: Battery Assembly Technician (4 Positions)
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and 1 year of experience as a Battery Assembly Technician including the use of: Multimeters, Soldering tools and Spot-Welding systems, Forge gauges, Hand tools such as crimpers, cutters, staple gun, etc are required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: J-STD-001H Class 3 certificate and/or Amada Resistance Welding Fundamentals certificate. Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity; Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams; Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-guality work; Experience in soldering components; Experience in spot welding aerospace components; Effective communication and teamwork abilities; Ability to work in a fast-paced and dead-line driven environment.
JOB DUTIES: Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences. Assemble electrical or electronic equipment. Operate welding equipment. Solder parts or workpieces. Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning. Repair parts or assemblies. Drill holes in parts, equipment, or materials. Confer with others to resolve production problems or equipment malfunctions. Exchange information with colleagues. Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas. Advise others on issues related to repairs, installation, or equipment design. Troubleshoot and resolve any problems in the assembly process. Capable of lifting boxes up to 50lbs. Communicate any issues to supervisors or managers. Comply with daily production goals.
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
SALARY: $46,571 per year.
