TITLE: Compliance Analyst
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies, Regulatory Compliance, Public Administration, Law, or related. Employer accepts U.S. or foreign equivalent.
JOB DUTIES: Monitor retail store operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations on hemp-derived products. Review product labels, packaging, and supplier certificates of analysis for accuracy using established checklists. Maintain organized compliance records, including inspection logs, inventory tracking forms, and supplier documentation. Support management in preparing routine reports and paperwork for regulatory reviews or inspections. Provide basic staff training on age verification, labeling requirements, and standard compliance procedures. Assist during visits from regulatory agencies by locating and providing required documentation. Use point-of-sale systems and basic compliance tracking tools under the direction of senior staff. Perform work primarily in a retail store environment with extended standing.
SALARY: $39,146 per year.
TRAVEL DETAILS: Occasional local travel may be required for compliance meetings or training.
