REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and 1 year experience required.
JOB DUTIES: Communicate with vendors and suppliers, negotiate favorable terms and prices, and ensure timely products delivery and sufficient inventory. Calculate product costs, considering risk factors such as international logistics, foreign currency swapping, and other market risks. Evaluate product quality, pricing, and availability to ensure alignment with company standards and target market. Conduct comprehensive market research and closely monitor industry trends and customer demands to identify emerging product trends. Oversee product assortment and maintain optimal inventory levels based on sales performance, sales forecasts and market trends. Continuously monitor inventory levels, promptly identify slow-moving products, and implement action plans to address inventory-related challenges. Ensure strict compliance with all regulations related to product safety, quality, and labeling requirements. Travel to China and other Asian countries as needed to visit vendors and suppliers, attend trade shows, and foster new business relationships. Regularly prepare and present comprehensive reports to the management team, highlighting purchasing performance, cost control, inventory levels, and market trends. Collaborate with other staff of the company to devise impactful sales and promotional strategies for the products.
SALARY: $59,010 per year.
TRAVEL DETAILS: Travel to China and other Asian countries twice a year. Travel time estimated up to 3 months per year.
