TITLE: Product Support Engineer
REQUIREMENTS: Master’ Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering and 12 months of experience as a Product Support Engineer or related.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for automotive telematics production issue triage and tracking, preliminary troubleshooting activities, ticket creation and maintenance, ticket assignments, as well as vendor follow-up. Work with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders to satisfy customer requests and provide resolution strategies for incoming issues. Coordinate root cause analysis, problem management, and facilitation of weekly problem management meetings with management stakeholders, trend analysis, and strategic resolution. Ensure that Client’s Telematics products meet Design, Operational, and Market expectations. Work in close collaboration with Network/IT, Mobile Wireless, and other related service providers to ensure that all related infrastructure systems are operating in compliance with the latest Service Specifications. Work in close collaboration with telematics hardware manufacturers, supporting the overall development efforts of new telematics platforms. Identify issues and risks as they relate to the Issue/Incident Management program and take escalation actions as necessary. Actively monitor Telematics system overall performance, execute applicable escalation protocols. Troubleshoot and drive any system power or networking changes required to keep the network stable.
SALARY: $90,000 per year.
