TITLE: Installation Technician
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma (HSD), vocational high school diploma (VHSD) or GED and 24 months experience as an installation technician, drapery installer or window covering installer.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
JOB DUTIES: Installation, service support and measuring in commercial, residential and marine spaces. Installation of custom window shades, blinds, shutters and motorized window treatments. Perform technical measures of client windows and related applications to ensure proper fit. Utilize spare components or hardware from toolbox and trucks and/or as necessary should cut down or amend the blind configuration to ensure the job is completed correctly. Repair broken or damaged products and work with manufacturers to resolve issues as necessary. May be assigned multiple jobs per day, with an estimated arrival time at client’s home or business.
SALARY: $46,800.00 per year.
