TITLE: International Student Counselor
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Education and 6 months of experience as a student counselor at a school.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in Chinese. Ability in softwares Alma, Ravenna, Start Test, MAP, Adobe Photoshop. Current First Aid at work qualification.
JOB DUTIES: Help students understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral issues. Provide students with crisis assistance when it arises at school. Help to assess students’ interests, abilities, personality characteristics. Consult with parents or guardians, teachers, administrators, and other professionals to discuss children’s development address behavioral, academic, and other issues. Communicate with parents, teachers, administrators to discuss students’ progress, address behavioral, academic and other issues. Help ensure that the international students are safe for dorms, schools, and other places.
SALARY: $65,000 per year.
