REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma (HSD) and 24 months of experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
JOB DUTIES: Maintains accounting ledgers. Records journal entries. Computes, classifies and posts numerical data to accounting software. Verifies the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded. Reconciling bank and vendor statements.Analyze Account Receivables and Account Payables and Generate Reports. Recording invoice codes, getting invoice payment approval, making invoice payments to vendors. Send invoices due to customers. Track payment due from customers with past-due balances. Prepares monthly financial statements. Maintains required business documents as needed.
