TITLE: Electrical Design Engineer
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineer or related.
JOB DUTIES: Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, prepare device and equipment layouts and associated electrical engineering design for Power, Fire Alarm and Signal systems. Assist in construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports including review Installation(s), construction issues and preparing follow-up site observation reports and punch list letters. Submit to supervisors electrical engineering calculations. Interface with clients and their representatives and attends related design and coordinate meetings. Submit design, coordinate and lay-out lighting control systems for review and approval. Ensure project designs are California Title 24 energy compliant. Construction administration including preparation of responses to bid questions, preparation of Change Order documentation, RFI’s, Submittal Reviews and Clarifications.
